No longer is teaching a one way process where the teacher teaches and the student is a silent listener.
We, at FRIENDS’ ACADEMY, strive to strike a balance between theoretical knowledge and contemporary teaching methods which give the students a deeper insight into the matter under discussion. The curriculum emphasis on detailed understanding of concepts through interpretation and evaluation as the students’ progress to higher classes. It is built around the principles of knowledge, understanding, application and skill sets from class 6, students are prepared for the ICSE programme in classes 9 and 10.

Students study English as the first language, French or Hindi as the second language, Mathematics, Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology), History and Civics, Geography, ICT as core subjects. The students are also graded in “Socially useful productive work” (SUPW). The students participate in Dance, Music, fine arts, Yoga and other activities. They actively participate in In-house cultural and sports events, thus developing leadership qualities and team spirit, school trips (educational and picnics) widen the students’ knowledge. The students get ample information from the well-equipped computer and Science labs and even the library, which creates good reading habits amongst the students.
